On Monday, ESA released the list of companies that plan on attending this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3, and surprisingly, Activision Blizzard was on the list. The mega-publisher was absent from last year's smaller, more compact Expo, holding its own gaming event that same week at another location in Los Angeles.
Although Activision will be showing up at the bigger, more lavish E3 this year, Blizzard will not. Yes, once again, the gaming giants have no desire to join in on the party and who can blame them? They hold their own event every fall. It's called BlizzCon and it gets bigger each year. This means that if you were holding your breath for any Diablo III, Starcraft II, or World of Warcraft news this summer, you'll have to hold it for just a bit longer and make your way down to Anaheim in the autumn. BlizzCon is more fun than E3 anyway. Less suits, more hot cosplay girls.
