Electronic Arts has acquired the worldwide rights to create video games based on author Robert Ludlum's work. This makes them the go-to source for games based on the Bourne movies. EA will work with Matt Wolf -- who serves as interactive creative adviser for the Robert Ludlum Estate -- to oversee the "creative development, production, and positioning" of the Ludlum Entertainment games portfolio.
"Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne is the most exciting action hero to emerge in decades, thrilling audiences around the world," says Mike Quigley, group vice president of marketing at EA Games Label.
The first EA Bourne game is in development at Starbreeze Studios, creators of The Darkness and The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Title, release date or consoles have not yet been announced.
The most recent Bourne game, Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy (screenshot above) was developed by High Moon Studios and published by Sierra Entertainment.
