Video game website 1up.com has gone all Encyclopedia Brown and uncovered a clue to an awesome mystery. Call it "The Case of Final Fantasy IV coming to the 360." There's a URL on the Japanese Xbox 360 site that includes the text "finalfantasy4." Go ahead, click it and see. This points to the possibility that the Japanese RPG, considered among the best games of all time, will be coming to the Xbox 360 Arcade. A release date, nor a confirmation is available. So for now, it remains a tantalizing possibility.
You can now play the game on the SNES, PlayStation, GameBoy Advance and Nintendo DS. And speaking of the DS version, if you're into Final Fantasy, you know it's a 3D re-working of the original title and by all accounts, it's fun...However, while I love that console download services allow gamers play classic, influential games, I think we should always have the option of playing them in its original form: Without graphical enhancements, new sound, new technical stuff, etc. Do you play any older games?
