If you plan to subscribe to XM or Sirius satellite radio because you'd like to stream the service from your computer -- sorry, bud. You're outta luck. The now-merged company is going to charge $3 per month for the service. If you're an existing subscriber, you'll have the chance to "lock in" free streaming before March 11th. The company also says the quality of their audio will improve.

Reportedly, Sirius is raising the cost of its Everything plan from $7 to $9 a month. A multi-radio subscription will cost $9 while a Mostly Music pack will cost $13 per month. Details for increases for XM satellite plans aren't known "but should be similar."

Are you a subscriber to either service? How do you like it?
