In these times of economic chaos and bad corporate news all around, we need a pick-up -- something to remind us of the awesome, mindless fun of video games. I've got just the thing for you: On February 10th, two Onechanbara games are coming to a console near you. Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad is for the Xbox 360 and Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers is coming to the Wii.
For the uninitiated, Onechanbara is the best game franchise ever about women in bikinis swinging samurai swords at hordes of the undead. Past Onechanbara games have featured crude graphics, repetitive game play, buckets of gore and cheesed-out plots. That's the negative. On the positive side, these games are about hot chicks in bikinis and cowboy hats slicing up zombies. I can't stress that enough. Plus, past Onechanbara games have featured whacked out boss battles similar to the one in Japan-only Onechanbara Vortex, where your be-thonged avatar battles a freakin' undead whale. Here's a screenshot to prove I didn't make that up:
So, are you going to take my advice and pick up one of these games? Or am I going to have to come over there and make you?
