Harmonix Continues 'Rock Band' Wii DLC Back Catalogue Rollout

Posted January 20, 2009 - By bleahy

Today, Harmonix continued the rollout of Rock Band back catalogue DLC to the Wii version of Rock Band 2 with the following tracks, all available for $2 (200 Wii Points):

  • Nine Inch Nails - “March of the Pigs”
  • Nine Inch Nails - “The Collector”
  • Ramones - “Rockaway Beach”
  • Clash - “I Fought the Law”
  • Jimmy Buffett - “Margaritaville”
  • Jimmy Buffett - “Volcano”

This is either a marketing strategy to avoid burying Wii owners in all of the DLC tracks available currently or a technical limitation, but either way, I would prefer the back catalogue to just be fully available and move on to the new DLC.

Then again, I play Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360 so this doesn't really affect me at all.

Do you have Rock Band 2 on the Wii? Going to be buying any DLC? Have you been stocking up on SD cards?
