Sith Kenobi Concept Art From 'Star Wars: Battlefront III'

When the footage from Star Wars: Battlefront III leaked on the Internet, one line of dialogue sparked a lot of speculation within the Internet community. At the end of the video, Emporer Palpatine says the line "Stick to the plan, Kenobi", which made countless nerds think that Obi Wan may infiltrate the Empire in order to take it down from the inside.

Well thanks to Kotaku, we also get to see some concept art from Free Radical for Star Wars: Battlefront III that show off how a Sith Kenobi would look if the great Jedi had turned to the Dark Side. This got us thinking, maybe Battlefront III will have a "what if" storyline, where we follow Obi Wan's decent into darkness.

These sketches are too cool for words. Sad part is that this version of the game may never see the light of day. Apparently, Star Wars: Battlefront III has been stripped from Free Radical and passed to another developer, who did not inherit the technology that allowed you to fly from ground to air and into orbit, that belongs to Free Radical. Changing developers means everything is subject to change, from the gameplay to the storyline, so there's no telling what we'll see when the game ends up being releasing.

Although we have no idea if this character will end up in the final product, the thought of plowing through a field of Rebel forces as a creepy, dark, murderous Obi Wan gives me a nerd boner. Kudos Free Radical.
