It’s a sad day for Star Trek fans.
This time Khan really is dead.
By that I mean, actor Ricardo Montalban, who played villain Khan Noonien Singh in 1982’s Stark Trek II Wrath of Khan, passed away today.
Mexican-born Montalban, 88, died at his home in Los Angeles this afternoon.
In addition to his many stage, TV and film roles, Montalban was alos best known for playing Mr. Roarke in TV's Fantasy Island.
Hey, don’t be sad. Like Ricardo always said on Fantasy Island: “Smiles everyone, smiles!”
