'Lord of the Rings: Conquest' Launch Trailer Preps You For Battles Sized Epic+

The creators of Star Wars Battlefront work their magic on the classic J.R.R. Tolkien's literary property and the result... Lord of the Rings: Conquest. Pandemic and EA have released the official launch trailer with plenty of pretty words to aid you in deciding what you shall be within the game.

It's shipping to stores as you read this. The game is available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Being a fan of the Battlefront series, I've tried the demo online and the ol' rule still holds true... multiplayer online is just too much fun. Favorite class so far is the rogue, as nothing seems to satisfy as much as climbing up a treant to stab it in the face, cloak, one-shot a mage, and cap the territory all within one sequence.

Will you guys be checking this one out?

I personally am sick of all things LOTR. However, I got the demo anyway, and it kind of jams. It's hard to get with your friends on the demo, but the full game should be pretty sweet.

I had the Demo and I think it's terrible, people just run around shooting you with a bow and the attacking is way to slow. Never have been a huge LOTR fan though.

I already preordered and payed in full. Gonna pick up my copy tomorrow!! I am a huge LOTR fan and can't wait, I loved the demo and I loved SWBF

This game is no Starwars Battlefront. Yes there are epic battles in it, though unfortunatly the epic battles are in the backround or behind a fallen pillar that you for some reason can't jump. Even if you make it over by some glich you can't fight in the battle, it's just an intangible looped battle scene.

I thought da trailer sucked cuz da graphics looked like crap. The graphics looked like a ps2 graphics but I downloaded the demo anyway and da gameplay is ok but I wouldnt buy this game for full price maybe like half or less it really isnt da much fun I like LOTR game but Id rather play Battlefront den dis crap

I thought this was extremely weak. Unimpressive visuals, mediocre framerates, spotty controls, button-mashing that didn't change from class to class, killing the same exact enemy over and over and over again. It was like playing KUF (which was lame enough), except more-streamlined but without all of RPG elements that made the game even worth trying. This is just a shame.

Lots of fun, but extreme problem between the classes, combos suck, melee combat must be more stream line, scouts running in circle waiting for cloak is gay, too many noob archers just raining slow poison arrows and explosive fire arrows, should add bots (as a setting) to multiplayer to have more fighters on screen, warriors should have more weapon customization, getting knock off a mount to easy, the game should make up in unimpressive graphics with more enemies on screen in multiplayer, fix hit recovery; scouts can stay cloaked and continuing running after getting hit, fix the fact that when you down somebody you have to wait for them to get up; like to zap them with lightning, and Archers running backwards too fast and makes noobs, and warriors should become the brute force of a team, not the least played class.

Still lots of fun, but I think I'll wait for a squeal.

Oh and watching the Witch King with full health getting killed by a cloaked scout is waayy gay, maybe just do a lot of dmg not a one hit kill.
