Fake 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2' Beta Email Go Out

Infinity Ward has issued a warning against opening emails from cod5beta@infinityward.com. It claims the email contains beta keys for the non-existent multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The emails, which could contain a virus, malware, or just be an attempt to phish for personal data, are a replica of the email sent out for the CoD4 beta with the game name changed. Pretty sneaky, hackers.

If you get this email, delete it and don't look back.

Did you get hit by this scam?
