Funcom announced planned to merge Age of Conan servers back in September. The date is now official. It's happening next week, so players of the fantasy MMORPG will soon find either a new home or lots of new neighbors.
The game was launched with 25 U.S. servers and is going down to six. Ouch. Bad news for Funcom, as the game obviously didn't live up to expectations. But good news for Age of Conan players: No more will you wander through a nearly deserted world, beseeching Crom for victims for your massive battle-axe.
The full list of post-merger servers is below.
The first server shown (in bold) will remain as the server name after the merges.
Gwahlur (PvE - Oceaninc)
Bloodspire (PvP - Oceanic) - already merged
- Crom (PVE)
- Bloodbrand (Ahriman)
- Fury (PvP)
- Mitra (PvE)
- Ishtar (PvE)
