Criterion Parodies 'Ghostbusters', 'Knight Rider', And 'The Dukes Of Hazzard'

Criterion Games has announced three additional cars for the "Legendary Cars" pack for Burnout Paradise. The developer already announced the Jansen 88, which is modeled after the DeLorean DMC -12 made famous in the Back to the Future movies. The three announced cars are also parodies of automobiles made famous in movies and television shows. There's the Manhattan Spirit (Ghostbuster's Ecto-1), the Carson Nighthawk (Knight Rider's K.I.T.T.), and the Cavalry Bootlegger (The Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee). These rides are pretty cool and add some nice pop-culture flavor to the excellent Burnout Paradise.

The company has not announced specific pricing or availability. However, "Legendary Cars" will be the game's second batch of downloadable content, after the "Party Pack".

Additional photos of the cars can be seen after the jump. Which of these cards has you the most excited? Even though it was revealed a while ago, I'm still partial to the Jansen 88 -- especially if it has Mr. Fusion -- but I love the Manhattan Spirit. Converted Hearses are cool.
