If you like both chainsaws and nostalgia, purchase the just-released Gears of War 2 flashback map pack. Previously, the only way to get the collection of original Gears maps was by redeeming a code that came with Gears of War 2. Cool, but if you bought the game used or your friend gave it to you, you were out of luck. Now you can purchase the Flashback maps. The pack contains updated versions of five of the most popular maps from Gears 1: Gridlock, Subway, Canals, Mansion and Tryro Station.
You can pick it up for for 400 Microsoft points ($5) - which is only a dollar a map. Don't be cheap. Don't tarry or lollygag. Go get the map pack!
But first, let me ask you a pointed question: Now that the game has been out for a bit, do you think Gears of War 2 has lived up to the pre-release hype?
