Wii Fit has sold an unbelievable three-million units in Japan. The figure is all the more remarkable when you consider the game's high cost due to the inclusion of the Balance Board.

It took 58 weeks for the Wii Fit to break the three-million barrier. Its sales weren't a sprint by any means, but the numbers show that Nintendo ran a very successful marathon with this game.

Congratulations, Iwata and Co!
