In one of the more bizarre and obscure game licensing deals in recent history, Xbox Live Arcade announced the release of Merv Griffin's Crosswords.
Oh, I’m sorry, you’re under 40. Merv Griffen was a talk show host and TV producer from the ‘60s and ‘70s. He’s dead now.
Anyways, Merv Griffin's Crosswords was a TV show created by Griffin that pit players against each other in a quiz-show format, with the answers to given questions filling in space in a crossword puzzle. So now you can do that at home. As a game. On your Xbox. Neat, huh?
Zzzzzzz...
Well, at least the game features over 1.000 puzzles, plus online multiplayer for 2-5 players. Earlier this year the game came out on PC, DS and Wii.
Hello? Anyone?
