AQ Interactive Cancels 'Cry On' For Xbox 360

Dang. I get back from Christmas break and a potentially cool Japanese role-playing game (RPG) gets canceled. That's life (that's what some people say), I suppose. According to 1Up, AQ Interactive has canceled Cry On for Xbox 360. With scenarios by legendary designer Hironobu Sakaguchi and music by the equally legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu, tons of RPG fans were looking forward to this game. Cry On was being co-developed by Sakaguchi's Mistwalker (Blue Dragon) and AQI's Cavia (Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles). AQI's company line states:

"AQI decided to cancel the project after analyzing the current market environment and forecasts for the future. We deeply apologize for troubling those who were awaiting its release."

This is just a major bummer. When Sakaguchi and Uematsu get together, good things usually happen (see the Final Fantasy series). Unfortunately, the band won't be getting back together for Cry On. Anyone else as bummed about this news as I am?
