Blizzard's World of WarCraft has managed to hit 11.5 million players worldwide. Eleven point five million...
Also, they've sold 4 million copies of Wrath of the Lich King in the first month of its availability. Now that Blizzard is most likely drowning in their own money, I've got a suggestion on how to get rid of some of that annoying green:
Hire like 300 more people to help finish Diablo III and StarCraft II, which will, in turn, only lead to even more money. Eventually, Blizzard will be able to purchase the moon. The freaking moon, people.
World of WarCraft: Wrath of the Lich King Review
Oh, here's a quote about
how much money Blizzard is making how happy Blizzard is with the success and reception of Lich King:
"We're pleased to welcome the new and returning players who have helped World of Warcraft reach these new milestones, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and support that the game's global community has continued to show," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We look forward to providing all of them with an excellent entertainment experience for a long time to come."
If I die... I want to come back as Blizzard Entertainment.
