'Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix' Sells Over 250,000 In Less Than A Month

Capcom has revealed that it has sold 250,000 copies of Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Already shattering the opening-day sales-record and the opening-week record, Capcom feels confident that HD Remix will snag the monthly sales record for a digital download. The game was released on November 25, 2008 for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Figures were not given for each platform (which would have been interesting). Capcom-Unity's John Diamonon said, "It's on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever."

This isn't terribly surprising news. The game is outstanding, looks gorgeous, and has a brand that every gamer knows. Plus, it's good practice for the upcoming Street Fighter IV. I have to confess that although I've been playing HD Remix a fair bit over the last week, I've been playing a lot more Uno using the Street Fighter II deck. The hadoken card rocks.

Are you guys rocking HD Remix? If so, what platform are you playing on? Which character do you use? Doesn't the game scream for Dan?!?
