New 'Terminator Salvation' Trailer

UPDATE: The video has been taken down from YouTube, but you can still discuss it in the comments section.

A new trailer from Japan for the upcoming Terminator Salvation has been making the rounds. While it does not give us any special glimpses at the new mechanized monstrosities that John Connor & Co. will have to fight, it does give us some insight towards the theme of the film. Apparently "the future" has been changed from the one that John was prepared to fight. Is he still "the chosen one?" Can he still save humanity? My guess is no, and they all die in the end like some kind of bizarre French expressionist film from the 30's. Then the robots all come out to celebrate, dancing to Herbie Hancock's classic hit "Rockit."

The film is actually looking pretty good. McG might have actually pulled something off here. (A surreal sentence.)

Terminator Salvation is set to open on May 22, 2009.
