PC 'Grand Theft Auto IV' Will Get 32 Player Multiplayer

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, which releases next week on December 2nd, will bump the player count in multiplayer up to 32. The console versions were limited to 16 players online.

There is, however, talk that this increase in players will only be for certain modes including Team Deathmatch and GTA Race.

The PC version is currently available for pre-loading on Valve's Steam service.

grand theft auto IV sucked the ones before was better! where u can gain territories, Customize cars, Buy Houses, More Cars, Cheat codes that make the pedestrians go wild. better guns. etc. all that they took out. and now it sucks.

Pc gaming sucks too

aint got nothing on the consoles. console gaming is better..WAY better

lol well a gaming computer is 10 times more powerful then your ps3 will ever be RRoD....anyway i would get the pc version but i dont have the computer power to run it

My friend is gettin it for Pc and he will give me his 360 version, I have a question, I was watching some footage the other day of the PC version, do the trees have full particles yet? wondering since I heard they will.

GTA IV DLC is $20 freakin' bucks. Thats around 1600 MS points.

Well it's fascinating they're upping the multiplayer count I guess, but the real question is are they going to take all of the suck out and make it a fun game? Cause the console versions were disappointing, boring, and not worth the money or time or effort it took to play through.

On a side note I wish ONE review had been negative. Just goes to show that reviewers tell people what they want to hear, not the truth necessarily. Halo 3 and GTA4 both got high marks across the board and neither was a great game. Kind of suspicious, in particular with GTA4 which a lot of people will tell you wasn't that good.

@RRod screw u man if it wasnt 4 pc u whouldnt have council (and gta4 suked, i curently own san andreas for pc this multiplayer puts me on the wall on weather or not i buy it im not shur im wiating for saints row to hit pc that wasa sick game

Wow if that isn't a stereotype I don't know what is.If only some of you knew how much better a game could look you would be bugging your parents right now for a grand to build a decent rig.Oh i know what it is can't get used to the mouse,you guys get owned too much right?lol

Anyway I was thinking about getting it for pc but is multiplayer really worth it?I know it has re-playability for single player but 50 dollars worth?The only downside to pc gaming is you can't trade them in when you become bored of it.I have about 900 dollars worth of cd paperweights sitting here,kinda sucks.

thats amazing, i might get it once the price drops just for that.

thats crazy, you could spend hours doing drivebys.

oh bizarro and rrod, funny how you guys just start hating on GTA4 once it came out for comps and the 360 got the exclusive DLC... lol
