In yet another case of "I'm so jealous that Japanese gamers get access to cool stuff first", Nippon Ichi has released several new products to commemorate the release of Prinny: Is It OK If I'm the Main Character, Dood? for Sony PlayStation Portable. For those not familiar with Prinnies, they're a race of characters from the Disgaea series of strategy role-playing games. In the world of Disgaea, people become Prinnies if they lead a worthless life. Most Prinnies serve as slaves or servants, paying penance until they can be reincarnated. They look like adorable penguins with bat wings and hip pouches. They often wield knives or bombs as weapons and almost always end their sentences with the word "dood". Most importantly, Prinnies are just frickin' cool.
Along with the PSP case shown above, Nippon Ichi has released several new Prinny dolls. All of these products are limited edition. Hopefully NIS America offers its own collection of Prinny goodies. If not, I'd still be super psyched for the game. Prinnies are awesome. Platform games are awesome. It stands to reason that a Prinny platformer would rule. Don't you agree?
