Relic, currently working on Company of Heroes: blah and Dawn of War II, could be fixing to get back to the Homeworld franchise next.
When asked about the possibility, Jonny Ebbert, Dawn of War II's lead designer, said, "we're definitely looking at it. We'll see what happens in the future."
When asked if the studio is currently working on a new Homeworld game, he responded, "There's always that chance."
Relic is currently working on three or four undisclosed titles.
