When Sony added Flash 9 support to the PlayStation 3 it meant that users could view content on YouTube, Hulu, and similar services through the built-in web browser, but there was a problem. You couldn't go fullscreen.
Here you are, trying to stream Hulu to your 42" HDTV (if you're baller), and it shows up in a tiny window. What's that about?
Sony says, no longer!
The 2.53 firmware update, which should go live tomorrow, will allow users to go fullscreen with Adobe Flash content. Woot!
Sony and Microsoft definitely have different approaches to updating their consoles. Microsoft tends to store everything up for a massive update every six months or so (as seen with the New Xbox Experience), while Sony likes to release features as they finish them.
Which do you prefer?
