'Rise of the Argonauts' Gets Delayed Again While Videos Honor The Gods And Level Up

The mythological action-RPG Rise of the Argonauts, from developer Liquid Entertainment and Codemasters, would like to offer a public service announcement for those who seek the power of the Gods.

After the cut, Liquid Entertainment Lead Designer Charley Price, discusses leveling up utilizing a favor system, deeds (which work like Xbox Live achievements and PS3 trophies), and how you'll utilize shrines to purchase new abilities.

Rise of the Argonauts has been delayed till early next year.

well props for inventing a new type of leveling system since that's something we haven't seen in many years. However, the reason we haven't seen a revitalization is that one wasn't really needed. If your game is massive enough to warrant all these abilities and powers then props to you guys, but I get the feeling it's more about choosing a god and sticking with that one. Obviously I don't know either way and can't judge, but I do look forward to playing it and trying it all out.

Thats a shame about this game, I have the art book that will be included with the special edition and it looks sweet.
