A 15-year old Swedish boy collapsed and went into convulsions after a 24-hour session of the World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. According to Times Online:
"Doctors told the father that his son’s bodily systems had been disrupted by a combination of sleep deprivation, lack of food, and the prolonged period of concentration playing the game."
Unfortunately, politicians and annoying activists will use this story to illustrate the evils of gaming. The focus will be on how this wicked game sent this poor boy into epileptic seizures. The focus should be on what a moron this kid is for neglecting his basic bodily needs and what a crappy father he has for letting him end up in this condition.
