Paramount Pictures will have Marc Forster, director of the Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, also direct World of War Z. The movie is based on the novel which is written by Max Brooks, son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft.
This project also brings to the helm other heavy hitters: J. Michael Straczynski, who wrote the Changeling screenplay is writing this movie; and Brad Pitt's Plan B is producing it.
Forster's opus ranges from Halle Berry's Academy Award winning performance in Monster's Ball; Finding Neverland; Stranger Than Fiction; The Kite Runner; and lastly, Quantum of Solace.
