Blizzard Chief Operating Officer Paul Sams has said in an interview that the world's most successful and wealthy MMO developers are working on a completely new project. Still in the early building stages, Sams says they want it to be, "cool, and new, and different, and kind of next generation in terms of look and feel and gameplay."
So it seems the Blizzmasters are looking to improve on where Warcraft falls short for some users and is interested in creating the next big thing for them and maybe the whole MMO community. This news comes on the same day as the official release of their World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, which will first be available at midnight tonight in London.
