Yes. You read that right!

Just a year after being released, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa can be purchased on Amazon for $0.96. That's cheaper than a lot of items on the Dollar Menu at McDonald's and, well, everything at the 99 Cent Store.

It is safe to speculate that Tabula Rasa cannot compete with other high-profile MMOs like World of Warcraft, Age of Conan and Warhammer Online.

Retailers like Gamestop no longer carry the game. Perhaps Lord British should think about selling off the Shakespearean theater he keeps in his backyard as a lean-to for all of the displaced NCSoft employees as a result.

Tabula Rasa means 'blank slate' in Latin. Maybe its publisher, NCsoft, should read that as an omen, go back to the drawing board and start over.
