Associate Producer Dan Sutton of Volition has confirmed that work on Saints Row 3 has already begun and that it will take the franchise in a "new direction." He points out that people seemed a little frustrated by the first game because it didn't tie up a lot of loose ends, story-wise. SR2 however aims to close up a slew of story to make way for whatever this "new" direction will be in the 3rd installment. Let's hope it isn't the same softish direction GTA went.
Saints Row 2 is an open-world crime adventure game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It was released in North America on October 14, 2008.
If a franchise has cajones, we want it to keep its cajones. Also, don't these guys ever take vacations?
