'Far Cry 2' First 15 Direct-Feed Gameplay Footage (Xbox 360)

Come with us into the first 15 minutes of Ubisoft's sandbox FPS Far Cry 2 as we try our best to demo the game's features while keeping our heads down. Malaria, multiple factions, bullets and fire... and a partridge in a pear tree. What more could you ask for?

is it me or does the voice acting seem rushed? its like they dont stop and pause between sentences...

Agreed. The voice acting is pretty bad with that one guy. The driver in the beginning didn't seem too bad. But the other guy? Wow. Why do they cut corners on things like that. That is something VERY easy to fix very fast.

Ok- I'm probably gonna rent this game or buy it or whatever but, small text again? I'm sorry, but not everyone has a 50 hdtv (not yet anyway) This would also in include the hard to see dashboard GPS so he can see where he is when driving. I know everyone is getting rid of the HUD for more emersion but I have to pull out my map and look at my portable GPS everytime I wanna see where I'm at? I guess its personal preference. Secondly, I know its a jungle setting but I can see the scenery getting real old real quick. Its better than cat-walks and wearhouses- but still.

you dont play Far Cry for the acting,story, you play it to look at nice things then make them less nice( with billets.).

Me and my freinds have played FarCry instincts, and loved it (and I mean loo'ove it) so one of us went and reserved FC2 and our balls were heavy in anticipation of playing our crazy dick-shaped maps (or mabye that was just me).

Anyway, the game has no split-screen, only xbox live, and the predator isn't an option even in the level editor. So now I think the game is just a load of crap. It's great how when CryTech gets it right for once, they deside to screw it up. And BETRAY ANYONE isn't a big point in the game cuz most games already alow you to do that.

Also: dont bitch to me about xbLive. Unlike that, my freinds are real.

hey, Max_Pwn, guess what, this is news that was released a long ass time ago: FAR CRY 2 ISNT FAR CRY INSTINCTS. it doesnt have jack carver. it doesnt even take place with the same characters. It's a whole new game. So stop complaining that its not the previous games. Yes, it has the Far Cry name, but its not the Far Cry we knew. This is new stuff, get used to it. Things like this happen.

Starting from the beginning i really liked how well they did the voices and the tribal languages. I'm from South Africa so what they did was spot on. Except i don't understand why the cab driver called the guards at the bridge foreigners, because they had South African accents too, unless the game takes place in North Africa.

The game looks good, cool effects on the environment when grenades blow up, but i would like to see how the multiplayer is, since that will be the main reason for my purchase.
