Different game than Midnight Club, I don't want to waist too much time with customization. I just want to race and this seems like a great game for that.

PS3 exclusive or not it actually looks like a lot of fun to play. I just want to know the comparison to Pure.

MotorStorm 1 was one of the best off-road racing games of all time and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift will follow in its footsteps or shall I say tiretracks. As for games like Pure and Baja, they look good too and I'm glad that there's a sudden wave of off-road racing games coming out because off-road racing is one of my favorite game genres.

Motorstorm is unique in that it pits all the (land)vehicles in existence together, and all the crashing and all the catching air... it's just a lot of fun to play. You know they're going to have online like last time, but this time around, I wasn't going to bother unless they included same-console play, which they did. There aren't enough games out with offline multiplayer, everything's online now.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but the sequel looks awesome. I love racing without consequence.

Another good feature about the MotorStorm games is that there are different routes the racers can take and that they don't have to always go on the same path. The environments look amazing as well.
