'Portal: Still Alive' Now On Xbox Live

Posted by John Manalang - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 9:24 AM

GLaDOS now beckons Xbox Live users to download the re-release of Valve's first-person puzzle title, Portal: Still Alive, available now at the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1,200 Microsoft Points.

Still Alive comes in with new challenge/advanced maps and achievements for everyone to enjoy. It's already downloading on our systems because we don't want to keep GLaDOS waiting--why should we? Check out the new achievements.

Xbots are still playing Portal? This proves the fact that there are no games on the Xbox 3FixMe is this is what the 12 year olds are playing. Enjoy Gears 2 because it's your last O.K. game.

I can't believe that you are stupid enough to actually diss one of the highest-rated games that came out last year, RRoD. It's also proof that you never played because anyone who has could tell you it has some sweet replay value. Also, you must have missed the part about new maps, you brainless sociopath.

RRoD... Have I ever told you how awesome and witty you are to come up with SOOOOO many insults about just about anything that comes up for the 360? Even though no one else here will admit it, I want you to know that everyone here considers you their personal hero and our lives would be a meaningless void with out your comments.

Ain't that right guys!?

Jesus 1200 microsoft points. Damn this addiction is expensive.

Looks like someone has a bit of sand in their vag. Do you always complain about the dumbest things? What kind of games are you playing and which ones do you recommend then if your just going to insult everyone elses taste in games?

Posted by TheWolfMI - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 10:10 AM

Well, he has a PS3, so he's play'n... all the stuff you can play on the 360 AND MGS4...

Posted by sleeptight - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 10:16 AM

bring it for ps3 and i'll get it. don't want to lay down 30 bucks for orange box just so i can play portal

Posted by sleeptight - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 10:20 AM

@ the wolf, yeah he's my hero. Us PS3 owners really have a leader to be proud of with RROD. His witty remarks are that of legend and without his fanboyism I couldn't go on with my day. Stating that GoW2 is OK is about as bad an insult as saying you screwed their moms. GoW2 looks badass, just like Resistance 2.

Posted by ctlaltdel - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 10:23 AM

Don't mind RROD he is just upset the b/c the only puzzles he knows how to solve say for ages 3 to 6 years old on the box. Portal rocks! Sorry RROD that Portal is to complicated for your tiny little mind to handle.

Posted by TheWolfMI - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 10:26 AM

@sleeptight. I knew you guys would agree!

And yeah... If I was made of money, i'd get both... I probably still WILL get both, but my bank account will probably hate me for it.

As for Portal, have it, love it... Not sure if I need new maps for it... Now, if they had this AND say... a 400 point version that just adds the new content onto the Orange Box version of the game, I'd be sold.

OrangeBox is worth 30 bucks. Portal alone in my opinion is worth 20 of the 30. The extra episodes of HL2 are lagniappe. I would imagine the TF2 community is little to nonexistant on PSN.

Posted by abelpc - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 12:15 PM

RROD doesn't play games.. he just trolls here on G4. He dreams of owning a system.

Posted by squarewannabe - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 12:15 PM

I think 30 bucks for The Orange Box is a great deal! I payed 50 for it on the PC.

Posted by at0mict0ast - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 12:28 PM

1200 Microsoft points is about how much it would cost PC owners, so why not. Can't keep GLaDOS waiting can we?

Also, why hasn't anyone thought to IGNORE rrod? Hes just another troll.

What is this "Xbox 3FixMe" you speak of? Well, it sounds like an absolutely terrible product and I'm astounded that these "Xbots" even support such stupid design with their purchase.

I'm highly satisfied with my similarily titled Xbox 360, it has everything I want in a gaming system. Dumb Xbox 3FixMe most be trying to capitalize on the success and sparkling image of the Xbox 360.

RROd, Portal is on the PS3............Get a clue and it's one of the best games ever made, ever

itsd wierd that rrod hasnt hardly posted a coment on fable 2 related forums

Posted by Reese8732 - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 7:43 PM

Well the Orange Box was not done well considering that Valve is swinging on Xbox's nut sack and won't take time program the game right. That's why they won't bring out Left 4 Dead out either. Sooner or later they will have to come around. Mircosoft will be making another system in three years top.

Posted by blakseed - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 8:12 PM

30 bucks for the Orange Box?! Definite must buy.

Posted by blakseed - Wednesday, October 22, 2008 8:15 PM

On PS3 or 360. No matter how wack Valve is when it comes to the PS3. But the Newell used to work for Mirosoft, so you can understand why he is a dick when it comes to the PS3.
