An application store for the Blackberry phone/PDA  is scheduled to launch in March, so users of the phone will be able to pack their CrackBerry with all kinds of useful add-ons that take advantage of the phone's internet connectivity, GPS and other features.

“The new BlackBerry application storefront and BlackBerry application centers will further support the growing BlackBerry ecosystem and help bridge consumers with developers and carriers as more and more innovative and interesting applications arrive,” said RIM co-chief executive officer Mike Lazaridis in a statement.

Software designers will be able to begin submitting their applications for approval beginning in December, and Blackberry will take a 20% cut of all sales of apps.
