As promised, the patch that will enable online co-op for Microsoft's upcoming RPG, Fable II, is ready for tomorrow's launch, according to developer Lionhead Studios. Here's the official word from the developer's blog:
"Lionhead and Microsoft Game Studios confirmed today that the online co-op “Fable II” multiplayer feature update is confirmed for a first day free download on Xbox LIVE, worldwide (21st October). We are pleased to provide “Fable II” fans around the world with the chance to hop in and out of their friend’s “Fable II” worlds, to meet their heroes, dogs, spouses and experience Albion, together online."
Very, very sweet indeed. And don't miss tonight's X-Play at 8pm ET for the review of Fable II, coming out this October 21 for the Xbox 360.
