Nintendo Wii game Wii Music is very cool: We've played it a couple times, and while it's more difficult to explain than something like Rock Band, playing it is a unique, engrossing and altogether fun experience, especially if you're creative and like good music. Nintendo released the track list of licensed songs today to stoke that creativity. Check it out:
- "Chariots of Fire" (theme) - Vangelis
- "Daydream Believer" - made famous by The Monkees
- "Every Breath You Take" - Sting
- "I'll be There" - made famous by The Jackson 5
- "I've Never Been to Me" - made famous by Charlene
- "Material Girl" - Madonna
- "Please Mr. Postman" - made famous by The Marvellettes
- "September" - Earth, Wind & Fire
- "Suriyaki"- Kyu Sakamoto*
- "The Loco-Motion" - made famous by Little Eva
- "Woman" - John Lennon
- "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" - George Michael
- "Jingle Bell Rock" - made famous by by Bobby Helms
- "Do-Re-Mi" - Rogers and Hammerstein (from The Sound of Music)
Keep in mind, these are the licensed tracks. Wii Music also comes with a ton of "public domain" songs and Nintendo-specific tunes. Like, say, the theme to Legend of Zelda.
Nintendo's Wii Music comes out on October 20th.
