Gamers Sue Over Red Ring of Death

Posted October 16, 2008 - By Stephen Johnson

Some California gamers are angry as bees over the infamous Red Ring of Death feature in the Xbox 360. According to GameDailyNews, consumers have filed a class-action lawsuit against Microsoft alleging that an excessive number of Xbox 360 consoles have failed, and that Microsoft concealed the excessive failure rate of its Xbox 360 consoles in order to compete with the launch of the PlayStation 3 and the Wii.

The gamers are apparently asking that all profits from the 360 be relinquished by Microsoft, and insisting that the company offer refunds to all purchasers of the 360. We're going to go out on a limb here and say: Never gonna happen.

In any case, this is a perfect opportunity to suggest you watch the Attack of the Show parody called Red Ring of Death. It's below.
