Remember that video we posted on Monday of Richard Garriot being launched into space as part of the unofficial Russian space tourism program? Well, it turns out the cryptic message on his sign was written in glyphs from his Tabula Rasa game.

Users have decoded the phrase and it turns out to be a rather apt quote from Russian scientist Konstantin E. Tsiolkovsky that reads, "Earth is the cradle of humanity but mankind will not be in the cradle forever."

Yes, apt indeed. Apt.
