Faith's free-running won't be limited to one adventure. Senior producer Owen O'Brien said that EA's upcoming platformer, Mirror's Edge, is only a part of a planned trilogy, according to his interview with AusGamer.
"The story we're telling at the moment is kind of a trilogy, a three-story arc," said O'Brien. He added that Mirror's Edge, along with a potential sequel, will revolve around the experiences of the main character, Faith. But after her tale has been told, O'Brien said that game's story direction could go anywhere from there. "I think the world we've created, the city and the culture and the environment, is almost as interesting or more interesting than any one individual story," he said.
O'Brien also opened up the possibility of a level editor in upcoming installments of the game. Mirror's Edge will be available this November 11 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version is expected to arrive sometime this December. Make sure you check out our hands on demo of the game.
