What would you give to be the "Chief Creative Officer" at Activision? We'd give a lot, but sadly, they decided against hiring us in favor of hiring Brad Jakeman, the former Executive Vice President of corporate marketing for Macy's department stores for the gig.
Jakeman will be in charge of global advertising, media, marketing and consumer research for the company, although none of this changes the fact that "Brad Jakeman" sounds like the name of the preppy/jock villain in a 1980s Molly Ringwald teen comedy. Yes, we're just saying that because we're jealous.
