Nineteen-Eighties sci-fi TV series V may get the revival treatment, and if it does, you'll be able to play as well as watch.
ABC is developing the adaptation of the franchise, which tells the story of an invasion of lizard-faced aliens as an allegory for the rise of Nazism in Europe, and it will be written by "The 4400" co-creator/exec producer Scott Peters.
Jace Hall is behind the project, and he was the former head of Warner Bros.’s videogame division. He worked on titles including "F.E.A.R.," so a game is practically a lock.
According to Variety:
The new "V" will center on Erica Evans, a Homeland Security agent with an aimless son who’s got problems. When the aliens arrive, her son gloms on to them — causing tension within the family. As in the original "V," several storylines will unfold simultaneously.
