Capcom's Ben Judd and GRIN's (developer of Bionic Command: Rearmed) Ulf Andersson revealed that the next-gen remake of the swingin' shooter, Bionic Commando, will be arriving early 2009, according to their interview with Kotaku. Or as the reports puts it, the game will arrive "very eeeeaaaarrrlllyyy 2009" on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
As for the PC version:
"The PC is always a slippery slope because of piracy, stuff like sorting out DRM, making sure we don't have too little or too much. But also because we want to make sure it doesn't feel like a port, so we can add a little extra polish to the PC version."
So for Commando fans, indulge yourselves in more NES nostalgia with Rearmed till the new title arrives.
