The eternal battle between full-band music games continues! Activision announced their plans for launch day downloadable content for Guitar Hero: World Tour today. Here's what you'll be able to download when the game comes out on the PS3 and 360 on October 26th:

Classic Rock Track Pack

  • "Rock and Roll Band" by Boston
  • "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner
  • "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield

On October 30th, the following tracks will be available:

R.E.M Track Pack

  • "Horse to Water,"
  • "Man-Sized Wreath"
  • "Supernatural Superserious"

The R.E.M. pack will be an Xbox Live Marketplace exclusive for two weeks, then heads over to the PlayStation Store.

If you are looking forward to the previously announced Wii downloadable content, keep waiting: No word yet on when that will happen. If you're waiting for the PS2 downloadable content, sorry, buddy, don't think it's going to happen.
