World: "But I want LittleBigPlanet!"
Yes, it seems as though Sony has come forward to officially say they won't be dropping the price on the PS3. Even as other consoles have made cuts throughout 2008, PlayStation is holding strong, convinced they have the best games and hardware out there.
They're also probably convinced that they need to sell them at a certain price or risk losing even more of their rear-ends. Director of corporate communications for Sony Computer Entertainment, Patrick Seybold, said "with PS3 titles for this including Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift to name but a few of our multiple exclusives, combined with PlayStation Home and increasing multimedia features for the hardware, we expect to have continued momentum going into and beyond this holiday season."
Forget ye not, too, about the PlayStation 2 which is still experiencing great sales globally in hard and software and just recently got a redesign to give it that fresh feeling.
So, ha.
