Just like the moms and dads of the world, Ford believes that "driving is a privilege, not a right". Introducing its MyKey techonolgy, Ford assures parents that reckless driving and stunting will not be tolerated on the road.
The technology will allow parents to limit the vehicle's top speed to 80mph, the stereo's volume up to only %44 of its maximum capacity, sounds off an annoying chime when seatbelts aren't fastened and reduce their teens' baller status to zero. MyKey will be a standard in the upcoming 2010 Ford Focus Coupe.
Naturally, 67% of teens do not approve of the idea through Ford's poll. Parents are now looking onto a new technology, where they could program the vehicle to drive back home automatically by 11PM.
