New 'Crysis Wars' Free Weekend Trailer

Crysis Warhead has been out for a couple of weeks now and for those of you who've picked it up, you've known all about its beefy multiplayer "sister" game that comes packaged with it; Crysis Wars. 

For the rest of you interested fret not, this weekend Crytek is offering up Crysis Wars for free download via its mycrysis.com site.  Check out the trailer below and official details after the cut.

We’re pleased to be able to invite you to the Crysis Wars trial weekend taking place from Friday, Oct 10 to Sunday, Oct 12! All you need to do is be a registered member of MyCrysis in order to receive all the information you'll need to take part, there's still 4 days to sign up so make sure you don't miss out!

  • If you already own and play Crysis Wars, this weekend will be a fantastic opportunity for you to meet new players and make new friends. There will also be an opportunity for you to play against Crysis Wars team members! Will you be able to beat us at our own game? Let's meet online this Friday, and show us your skills!
  • If you don't own Crysis Wars, this is a unique occasion for you to download the FULL game with its 3 game modes and 21 maps. As soon as your download is over, you will be able to play on LAN with your friends for free. Once the weekend arrives, you will receive a unique CDKey so that you can play online for free during the entire weekend!

Level design looks cool, but you need something innovative to seperate yourself from mediocrity

Building destruction and massive maps are what set Crysis as such an enjoyable game, hopefully level design is better than what i viewed here, but just setting everyone with invisibility will spell fun quickly even with terrible maps.
