Marvel Movie Producer On 'Mass Effect'

Marvel film producer Avi Arad revealed his plans on the rumored film based on BioWare's epic RPG title, Mass Effect, in his interview with Kotaku. Arad, who is also producing the upcoming Lost Planet film written by Solid Snake alter-ego David Hayter, said in the report:

“Once I played [Mass Effect], beyond this massive world, the story’s almost structured like a spy movie like a Casino Royale or The Bourne Identity. You have this guy, the first human Spectre, and he has all of this pressure on him to deliver for his species. Then he uncovers this plot that he has to chase down because he’s a hero. I think that's a good central character for the movie.”

The producer is also planning to adapt other video game titles to the big screen, including Everquest and the PS3 action title, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Make sure to hit the source for the full story.
