Posted October 1, 2008 - By John Manalang

Good News, Bad News deal here folks. The Good: Developer Lionhead Studios announced that the price on the limited edition bundle of Fable II will be reduced to  $69.99 from $79.99. The Bad: Developer Lionhead Studios also announced that the contents originally promised on the Limited Edtion will be cut as well. Here are the updated bundle contents:

  • Fable II game disc
  • Bonus DVD with new ‘Making-of’ Feature
  • In-game content (Xbox Live required) - "The Hall of the Dead" Dungeon, Spartan armor and energy sword, "The Wrecker Weapon"

The premium box, five printed fate cards, and Hobbe action figure, originally set for the LE package, will no longer be included due to "supply chain issues." In recent Fable II coverage, Lionhead Studios has also confirmed earlier this week that the online co-op feature will not be available on the title's launch this October 21.

Fable II, published by Microsoft, will be available for the Xbox 360.
