Following on the title's first expansion in July, Konami's Metal Gear Online will soon be receiving the "Meme Expansion" for more online sneaking and squad-based missions. The expansion will include three new maps:
- Silo Sunset - inspired by the Silo stage from Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP
- Forest Firefight - a battleground that requires plenty of stealth and Octa-camo utilization
- Winter Warehouse - just in time for the holidays, snow-filled battlefield
In addition to the new maps, Liquid Ocelot and MGS veteran Mei Ling will also be playable characters. Metal Gear Online was released with single-player counterpart, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which is now available exclusively for the PS3.
