In the midst of all this "hybrid" car craze, the folks at Magnetic Cars Inc. is set to introduce the world's first fuel-less, air-powered car as soon as 2010.
Instead of the pump, the car's acceleration is generated through a special special silicon salt (delicious) battery "that has 30% more mass power than a lead acid storage battery and can charge completely within an hour". Mighty impressive indeed. On top of that, instead of having pistons, this concept car will use the Magnetic Air Car design that takes advantage of magnetic technology.
Very ambitious, but the applied concepts have not been tested yet. The company is set to unveil the vehicle soon at an auto show in San Jose, CA.
