One of the big screen's greatest thespians and the director of the 1994 film Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Kenneth Branagh, may take the helm on Marvel's upcoming movie adaptation of Thor.
Aside from Frankenstein, Branagh's resume contains plenty of Shakespearean references, including directing the 1993 film, Much Ado About Nothing, and starring in Henry V and Othello with Laurence Fishburne. Considering his experience, Branagh's take on Marvel's Norse hero will be no less than interesting and unique (Come hither, hammer!).
Thor is currently set to be released in 2010, with Marvel legend Stan Lee on the project's script.
